Commencement 2027
Illinois Institute of Technology holds one Commencement ceremony each academic year in May. The official registrar academic calendar lists Spring Degree Conferral and Commencement on Saturday, 15 May 2027. Degrees are also conferred in December and August; students who complete requirements in fall, spring, or summer of that academic year are eligible for the May ceremony.
The dedicated Commencement hub at https://www.iit.edu/commencement still describes the already-held 157th Commencement (Saturday, 16 May 2026 at Credit Union 1 Arena, 525 South Racine Avenue). The 2027 hall has not been named; the university notes that ceremony location can differ from year to year.
