Shiawassee County Fair 2027
The Shiawassee County Fair is an annual agricultural and community fair held for a full week every August at the Shiawassee County Fairgrounds, 2900 Hibbard Road in Corunna, Michigan. The fair traces its roots to 1850 when the first known fair was staged by the Shiawassee County Agricultural Society, and it moved to the present Hibbard Road grounds in 1988. It has been a free fair since 1951 and now bills itself as one of Michigan's premier county fairs, with more than 175 years of tradition behind it.
The 127-acre fairgrounds feature 11 barns, three outdoor arenas and one large indoor arena, and the grounds also host year-round events, facilities rentals, community-room bookings, camping and winter storage. During fair week visitors can browse open exhibit halls with thousands of exhibits and youth projects, attend livestock, dairy, beef, sheep, swine, poultry, rabbit, cavy, goat, dog and horse shows, and take in the annual Truck Show, the Draft Horse Program, a demolition derby and figure-eight racing, plus the Skerbeck Family Carnival with daily and weekly passes.
The official site lists the 2027 fair dates as August 8th through 14th, 2027, with advance tickets available from the fair office during weekday business hours of 9am to 5pm. Youth animal shows, grandstand entertainment and daily admission and armband pricing are published on the same site.
