LiveableCitiesX Summit | Big 5 Global 2026
LiveableCitiesX Summit is the Big 5 Global leadership summit on urban growth, held on 24 November 2026 in the Al Multaqua Ballroom at Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE. It brings together policymakers, city authorities, developers, planners, financiers and technology leaders to discuss the challenges and priorities influencing urban growth, and how leading cities balance housing, infrastructure and sustainability requirements while improving quality of life and supporting economic development.
The agenda mirrors the discussions happening in planning councils, development committees and municipal strategy rooms: how to accommodate growth while improving quality of life, how to connect planning, governance and delivery to achieve better city outcomes, and which partnerships and approaches are helping cities deliver long-term value. Sessions include a city intelligence briefing, a city leaders dialogue on cities as engines of growth, urban strategy and policy exchanges on balancing growth, liveability and affordable housing, an executive review of how cities can deliver at the speed of demand, a spotlight on mobility, a citizen-perspective fishbowl conversation, and a closing session on cities in 2035.
Key themes: Planning Cities for Long-Term Value; Delivering Liveable Cities; Smarter Urban Governance; Cities for People; The Urban Agenda.
The summit takes place on the second day of Big 5 Global (23-26 November 2026), so delegates can also walk the exhibition floor. Access is by delegate ticket, and visitors under the age of 21 are not permitted.
