A World Expo held on Yumeshima Island under the theme"Designing Future Society for Our Lives", with sub-themes of Saving Lives, Empowering Lives, and Connecting Lives. The site featured theGrand Ringby Sou Fujimoto—certified as the world's largest wooden architectural structure—dividing the venue into three thematic zones: Pavilion World, Water World, and Green World.
Pavilion Categories
- Self-built (Type A):Over 40 countries including Japan, USA, China, France, Germany, UK, and others built dedicated pavilions.
- Small (Type B):Shared pavilions for nations like Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, and the EU.
- Commons A–F:Collective pavilions grouping smaller nations by region.
- Signature Pavilions:Eight themed pavilions by notable producers exploring life, technology, and future society.
- Private Sector Pavilions:Including Gundam Next Future, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Sumitomo, and others.
- 國內館：女性館（與卡地亞合作）、大阪健康醫療館以及關西館。
