Testo 2027
Testo is the contemporary publishing event that every year brings to Florence books and the people who make, read and love them. Organized by Pitti Immagine in collaboration with Stazione Leopolda, from an idea by the Todo Modo bookshop, Testo is an exhibition of selected titles and new releases combined with a vibrant programme of talks, workshops and meetings. Publishers present curated selections, while a journey through seven curated stations traces the full life cycle of a book, from manuscript to jacket, translation, design, story, bookshop and reader. The event welcomes publishers, readers, Italian and international authors, book clubs, booksellers and the press, and has hosted writers such as László Krasznahorkai, Paul Lynch, Niccolò Ammaniti, Jhumpa Lahiri, Tracy Chevalier and Amélie Nothomb. The next edition, number 6, takes place at Stazione Leopolda, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Florence, from 19 to 21 February 2027, with fair hours from 10 am to 8 pm every day. The fifth edition in 2026 welcomed over 12,000 visitors, 176 publishers and more than 200 events featuring over 300 guests from around the world.
