Florida WritersCon 2026 is the Florida Writers Association annual in-person conference, 23–25 October 2026 (Friday–Sunday) at Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs, 350 Northlake Blvd, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.

Registration is open to FWA members, guests, and non-members at https://www.floridawriters.org/registration. Member early bird is $599 through 30 July 2026; member regular $679 through 30 September 2026; non-member $799 through 30 September 2026. Registration closes 30 September 2026 with no onsite registration. Refunds end 23 September 2026.

Included: Shawn Welcome keynote and documentary screening; Writers Connect networking on Friday afternoon; Friday hands-on workshops; 20+ workshops Friday–Saturday; Sunday Book Marketing Hot Seat; Friday and Saturday night mixers; meals and refreshments; a free copy of FWA Collection, Volume 18: Fragments.

Hotel block: $156/night plus taxes (code FWA26) through 10 October 2026 via Hilton reservations 800-774-1500. Rooms are not included in the conference fee. Schedule on the organizer site is listed as subject to change; no official daily hours are posted.
